Welcome

My name is Kathy Crawford and I have been providing counseling services in the Florence, SC area for over 20 years. My practice is conveniently located in the center of Florence at 656 South Coit Street near Timrod Park. I provide counseling for individuals, couples, families and groups who are looking for a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic setting to address life issues they are facing. I work with all age groups (small children to Senior Adults).

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of South Carolina since 1999. Prior to starting my private practice, I worked for the SC Department of Mental Health as a Child and Adolescent Psychologist. I received my undergraduate degree from Mars Hill College in North Carolina and my masters in counseling psychology from Radford University in Radford, Virginia. I also am a licensed school teacher (K-12) for the state of South Carolina and I have taught in both the public school and college settings.

My goal with each client is to provide an individualized solution focused counseling approach to the issues they are facing. My office is set up to provide a comfortable setting to work with clients and their families.
